Team Watford Council's Great Big Walk for Herts
As part of Watford Council's theme this year, they are committed to creating a mental health friendly town. We are taking part in this event in this event to help raise vital funds for Herts Mind Network who's mission and values align with our theme.
Team Watford Council
My story
Watford Borough Council is committed to making Watford a mental health friendly town.
Colleagues from across the council are coming together to take part in this challenge and raise funds for Hertfordshire Mind Network that provide support are much needed services to residents in Watford facing mental health difficulties.
We are excited to be taking part in this walk along with
colleagues, friends and family of everyone at Watford Council.Watford Councils theme
for the year is supporting mental health and the services provided from the
organisations and charities in Hertfordshire and Watford. With the fallout from
the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis, more and more people are facing
challenges every day that can become overwhelming, and all seem too much.
Access to help can be a hurdle, but there is light at the end of the tunnel,
and we want us as a town to support those in need and be there for each other.
Please donate generously as every donation is being matched to Hertfordshire Mind Network so this event really does make a difference!
