Great Big Walk for Herts
We are joining Helping Herts in walking a leg of the Hertfordshire Way, to raise essential funds for Hertfordshire's Children's Charities. Phoenix supporters are walking from Stevenage to Willian ( about 13 miles), your support would be very welcomed.
My story
At Phoenix, we observe how deafness can impact the lives of children and young people. Isolation, loneliness and lack of confidence in communication are just some of the daily challenges that some members face. We work to help members overcome such barriers, to grow in confidence, make friends, learn new skills and develop an 'I can do' attitude that will help them become resilient and successful in all they want to achieve.
